JAPON MEIJI. PIED DE LAMPE EN BRONZE JAPAN MEIJI Imposing lamp base in bronze with medal patina and samurai decoration and Japanese friezes. The upper part features an archer ready to throw an explosive device. This ensemble rests on a large baluster-shaped vase featuring two cartouches with samurai motifs and a landscape with bird and tree. Supported by a disc with various Asian friezes, four feet with Yokai heads sticking out their tongues allow the set to stand on a pedestal. Height: 81 cm
