MAP OF PARIS - FONNÉ - 1931 COLONIAL EXHIBITION Map of Paris, drawn by Fonné, former chief cartographer to Marshal Foch, for the 1925 Colonial Exhibition, donated by Laboratoires Lumière. A fold-out map with a map of Paris on one side and information on the highlights of Paris on the other, as well as advertisements for Lumière pharmaceutical products. Plan protected by a notebook containing a drawing of an African woman accompanied by a gazelle on the front, with the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Paris skyline in the background. On the reverse is a drawing of a gazelle being suckled by its young in the shade of a tree not far from a hut. Near mint condition.
