PAUL DUPRÉ-LAFON (1900-1971) AND HENRI REY JEWELER-MANUFACTURER Rectangular vermeil (800 thousandths) minaudière decorated with a fine trellis pattern on all sides. The hinged lid is inlaid with a circular monogram in relief with the letters "D.L" designed by Paul Dupré Lafon. The object opens in three parts. The top lid reveals a compact with a mirror on the reverse side and a powder container opening perpendicularly in the opposite direction. The lower part also hinges. In a supple brown-tinted leather case. Enclosed is a leaflet with four preparatory drawings by Dupré Lafon in graphite and ink, bearing the artist's dry stamp. And a letter from Maison Henri Rey 38 rue de la Cannebière, Marseille, addressed to Dupré Lafon, in which the manufacturer announces that it has completed the work.
