ROJAN [FYODOR ROJANKOVSKY] "Quand la bise fut venue", Promotional catalog" for La Grande Maison de Blanc de la place de l'Opéra. 16 x 19 cm, 6 stencil-colored plates (plus cover) by Lecram in illustrated portfolio. 1929. Scattered foxing not affecting the illustrations; a few small stains (age spots?) on the title pages. Each plate illustrates a more or less everyday theme, such as Chez vous, Au bois or En avion. Feodor Stepanovich Rojankovsky (1891-1970), trained at the Beaux-Arts in Moscow, emigrated to Paris around 1925, where he became a much-appreciated modern illustrator (enfantina, erotica..). (GZ63)
