RICHARD DE PREMARE (XX CENTURY) "Fishing Boats in Honfleur", Oil on canvas signed lower right, framed. H 24 x W 33 cm Born in Morocco in 1936, R de Prémare began painting after training in Paris at the Hélène Perrier studio, the Charpentier academy and the grande chaumière academy. He defines himself as a landscape painter, inspired as much by the Normandy countryside as by Parisian neighborhoods or the regions of southern France, for which he has a genuine passion.
