Illustrated with 55 color lithographs, including 11 on double-page spreads, with lined cover by André Derain, depicting sets and characters created in 1953 for the Aix-en-Provence Festival. André Derain's gouaches were mounted on Pierre and printed by Maurice Mourlot. Limited edition of 270 numbered copies on Rives B.F.K. vellum. This one, n 140. Provenance: Mourlot family
